I love when I people who they thought was the best producer on a mic, and they say Kanye. I love Kanye but in my humble opinion I don’t think so. I think that title would have to go to an all-time favorite of mine Large Professor. Now most kids now a days wouldn’t know who they hell Large Pro is. That’s that “live guy with glasses from flushing, known for programming and percussion”. Now most Nas fans should know who he is and if not he’s responsible for basically putting Nas on. He blessed Nas by being the first to rap on “Live at the Barbeque” and also for producing “Halftime”, “One Time 4 Ya Mind”, & “It Aint Hard To Tell” off Illmatic. Produced “You’re Da Man” & “Rewind” off Stillmatic, also “Star Wars” off the Illmatic platinum edition. He’s produced countless of other tracks I just named the ones he did for Nas. I’m feeling nostalgic because I saw video of one of his interviews.
